As Marx's 200th birthday approaches, his ideas could hardly be more relevant. Capitalism is in crisis, and, just as Marx said, its failures are causing turmoil around the world. 
 
As a result, many people are looking for change, and the idea of socialism is back. To celebrate his birthday, we have brought together writers, performers, thinkers, and activists to explore why Marx matters and what Marxism means today.
