About this event

St Cyrus NNR is home to many species of wild bee. For Don't step on a Bee Day discover some of the bumblebees and solitary bees living on the reserve. There will be a short indoor chat about what they are and where they might be found before we head out to look for some of these busy pollinators. Essential for the wildflowers growing on the reserve bees both big bumblers and quieter solitaries set up home for the summer, find out more about their lifestyles and identification tips. Meet at the Reserve visitor centre.

Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing.

All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please ensure all attending adults book a ticket. Suitable for adults and children aged 10 years and over.

Not suitable for pushchairs.
