Yes, we have a compost toilet as well as a cassette toilet on site with handwashing stations.

Do you have to book in advance?

Yes please, as we are situated on a working farm it is necessary to know numbers.

Do my children have to attend The Hornbeam Hideout for me to attend the adult session?

No, the sessions are open to all.

Our Wilder Ones Adult Group runs every 2nd Monday each month from 19:00-21:00.

Sessions can be booked individually.

A little bit about us:

Tucked away in the woodlands of Hampshire, The Hornbeam Hideout stands as a dynamic centre for the community. It offers a safe space where people of all ages can participate in activities designed to promote learning, personal development, and mental health and wellbeing.

We use the 6 principles of Forest School as a foundation to help us provide you a safe and inclusive outdoor space.

A typical forest school session at the Hornbeam Hideout involves plenty of space to freely play, get in touch with nature and the community surrounding you. With access to resources like hammocks, tools and of course hot chocolate!
