B﻿odmin Gallery and Creative Studio is part of a community owned enterprise and is the new centre for creativity in Bodmin. It stocks the artwork and creations of almost 60 Cornish artists and makers and is now running a variety of art and crafts workshops and classes.

Learn the traditional craft of willow weaving as you create your own Catalan tension tray.In this small hands-on workshop, you’ll explore working with natural sustainably grown willow, practice key weaving techniques, and craft at least one beautiful, functional tray to take home.These trays are traditionally used as food platters for bread, cheeses, fruit etc. They are also useful as trivets for hot pans and decorative pieces for the home.Suitable for beginners and those who have worked with willow before.All tools and materials are provided and hot drinks and nibbles.
