Join us for willow workshop with Iris Bertz! Originally trained as a basket maker, she has developed her work into sculpture and free forms. She has a passion for sharing these ancient skills to keep them alive. In the workshop you will be making sculptural forms and small plant supports, gaining an understanding of how to use, handle &amp; prepare willow.Venue Location and ParkingBuzz Stop is located outside the main entrance to Sandwell General Hospital, Hallam Street, West Bromwich, B71 4HJ. We will have a tour of the garden and then begin our workshop on a lovely lawned space around the corner.The best parking is on Little Lane, B71 4HP. The Buzz Stop site is a 5 minute walk from this parking. A map has been attached with parking shown as a purple star and a purple arrow directing you to the Buzz Stop site.A﻿bout Buzz StopB﻿uzz Stop is a biodiverse, playful and inclusive garden inspired by the lifecycle of a butterfly. Directly outside Sandwell General Hospital, this is Spectra&#x27;s latest project which will provide a place for rest, reflection and nature connection for staff, patients and visitors to the hospital.We are grateful for the funding and support from Arts Council England, Your Trust Charity, Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust, West Midlands Combined Authority and Heart of England Community Foundation which has made this project possible.
