Windrush Tea Party

A day of music, performances, food and laughter to celebrate the Windrush Generation

Come and celebrate the legacy and contributions of the Caribbean community in Britain at the Windrush Tea Party on the 20th June at Museum Square at New Walk from 12-8PM

This event will have an equipped stage with musical guests and special performers, food and cultural stalls for shopping, a kids activity space, a dominoes corner, and plenty of space for you all to relax and enjoy the day!

Who's performing this year?

This years event will be hosted by comedian Anette Fagan with musical performances from Sakatella Band, Contrast Steel Band, Attraction B, Angela's Agnel and much more!

Plus, special guest appearances from Gogglebox's Sandi and Sandra!

This is a free event, so you do not need a ticket to attend

There is also a Caribbean infused High Tea available for £30 per person.

Here, in your own sheltered area of the square, we will provide you with a classic High Tea service with a Caribbean twist. With unlimited access around the sqaure and your own space to rest and refresh, all you have to do is sit back and absorb the atmosphere around you!
