The Third Age Trust

Join the 5 week recorder ensemble course for the opportunity to  play in at least four parts, from Descant to Bass recorder and below!

Online via Zoom

This is an opportunity for those moving on from Beginners, to ensemble playing in at least four parts, from Descant to Bass recorder and below! You should be able to read and hold a line of music, in keys with up to three sharps or flats.The course will be five weekly sessions delivered on Zoom. Monday, 18th, 25th January and Monday 1st, 8th &amp; 15th February from 11.00 am to 12.00 pm. Music and backing tracks will be sent by email for printing out and listening to for practice purposes. When we play together, using the same backing tracks, you will be muted, because of the unavoidable delays on Zoom. This could be an opportunity for you to try a different size of recorder in the privacy of your own home!We shall play a mixture of music including early, folk and more modern pieces which I hope will be fun to learn, even if we are together only as a virtual ensemble!
