All group sessions are open to complete beginners.As long as you are able-bodied you will be able to attend any of the sessions as they are not categorised into beginners or expert.That said, the sessions do vary in levels of vitality, strength and energy. Rest assured that there are always options to take your practise up or down a level depending on how you are feeling. <h3>Hello and welcome to Wilderness Wellness by the Lakes where we are offering a wholesome day of winter delicousness <strong><strong>on Sunday 21st December from 11am until 5.30/6pm.</strong></strong></h3><h3><br></h3><p><strong><strong>Winter Solstice, known for being the shortest day of the year carries so much more symbolism and power than just being the longest night. On this day, we consciously welcome the darkest time of the year. We give permisson to ourselves fully to SLOW down. In the darkness we pay attention to the silence where we can hear our divine Self gently guiding us inside... where we gain insight.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>On this day 21/12, it just happens to be the last new moon of the year so we will be immersed in incredibly auspicous energies as well and a great great time to practise the art of imagination.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>The emphasis on the day is simplicity. It will be a day to simply come together, align with nature and to reflect on the year gone by, expressing gratitude, and breathing out any challenges you have had...or may still be experiencing. `This is about giving yourself the space you need to release and clear fully so you can move into 2026 with a clean slate.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>In Samadhi way, we will have a roaring fire pit where we will share homemade soup and crusty sourdough bread. Please let us know if you have any allergies. The food will be vegetarian.</strong></strong></p><p><strong><strong>Relaxed informal singing, drumming, flute playing, and chilling around the fire will bring us together for a bit of Christmas cheer.</strong></strong></p><p><em><em>Cost includes all food and refreshments. Follow the signs to Southlake Waterpark. Our last winter at Wilderness by the Lakes...time to move on.</em></em></h3><p><br></p><h3>With over 30 years in the yogic wellness world, I trade as The Whole You.</h3><h3>I was keen to create a natural quiet space where I could share the gift of reclaiming your own personal health of mind and body through yoga movement, breath-work, meditation, relaxation, nutrition, music, dance and THE most powerful of all healers: love.</h3><h3>In 2019, Wilderness Wellness was born - a unique outdoor meditation and yoga sanctuary offering everything that is wholesome.</h3><p><br></p><h3>I wanted to do this because yoga has healed me over the years and I know how good it is for everyone. The authentic practise of yoga literally helps everyone; there are no exceptions. The unique natural healing space at the Lakes has been a god-send as the healing begins the moment you enter the space.</h3><p><br></p><h3><em><em>I started running annual mini festivals in 2023 which have been a great success . We will have one more mini festival in 2026 and after than I will be leaving the lakes; it is time for me to move on.</em></em></h3><p><br></p><h3><em><em>I will be sending out an email soon to everyone on my mailing list outlining my plans for the future and my offerings to you....but in the meantime I will be here at the lakes until early winter 2026....sooooo.....let's make the most of this beautiful space and have the best year ever!</em></em></h3><p><br></p><h3><em><em>We have together, built an incredible community offering so many wholesome, informative and fun workshops, events, and festivals.
