In this fast paced world, moments of stillness and calm are increasingly absent from our lives. Now, more than ever, there is a need to balance out movement and action with rest and restoration.Through our classes, events, and Cafe, we hope to inspire true connection and balance. Everything from the class schedule, to the seasonal food served in the Cafe has been created to remind visitors of the natural rhythms we are all connected to.We invite you to take a moment to slow down, and find the space you’re missing.

In the wake of the longest night, the Sun ‘returns' bringing the light with it. 
Come and celebrate the Winter Solstice with us with an evening and morning of special events.  This unique programme has been curated with love for a good cause: all proceeds will go to <A HREF="https://recentre.co.uk/events/special-yoga-classes-for-children-with-special-needs/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Special Yoga</A> for children with autism.

<H3>A journey through sound, images, myths, science and meditation.</H3>

In the dark of the night, astrophysicist Alvaro Sanchez will introduce us to the unknown but spectacular story of our star the Sun. A journey accompanied by the images of artists <A HREF="http://joholland.com/index.html" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Jo Holland</A> and <A HREF="https://www.marcstanding.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Marc Standing</A>.  Soundscapes created by <A HREF="http://sabiojaniak.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Sabio Janiak</A>, who will then lead us through a sound meditation to connect with the light within.
A ‘Light in the Dark’ Mocktail will be included in the ticket price.

<H3>Celebrate the return of longer days with an immersion in music and movement coupled with a sun-themed breakfast.</H3>

In the early light we will awaken our bodies and souls with <A HREF="https://ravi.yoga/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ravi Dixit</A> who will guide us through an authentic Indian Yoga flow, which will be paired with a light and nutritious ‘Surya’ breakfast. 
Approaching mid-day <A HREF="https://nikkislade.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Nikki Slade</A> will lead a live Kirtan celebration concert.
There will be free Yoga and Art activities for kids from 5 years old (booking required).
