Reserve your tickets now!Date: 18th December 2021 (Sat)Time: 1:30pm - 4:00pmVenue: St. John's Centre (M16 7GX)(Near Trafford Bar and Old Trafford Metrolink Station)(Due to no public carpark nearby, using public transport is recommended.)Language: English and HongkongeseFee: Free of chargeTicketing: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/winter-solstice-event-tickets-215646312927On 18th December 2021 (Sat), Trafford Hongkongers CIC (THCIC) will hold a Winter Solstice Event at St. John's Centre, Old Trafford, Greater Manchester (M16 7GX), welcoming everyone to participate in it and meet new friends.In the event, some popular cultural items of Hong Kong will be displayed and demonstrated, such as, calligraphy, faichuns, chopsticks, mahjong, yuhahai, red packets. You can also show off your calligraphy, write some faichuns, use chopsticks, stack mahjong tiles, shake yuhahai dices, design your own red packets, understand the history of Hong Kong, learn some basic Hongkongese and take photo with a 'big moon'!Since there is no carpark near St. John's Centre, and there will be a match of Manchester United vs Brighton starting at 12:30pm on that day, using public transport is recommended.This event is organised by Trafford Hongkongers CIC, sponsored by the Inclusive Neighbourhoods Grants of Trafford Council, and supported by Hongkongers in Britain, Hong Kong Cultural Comunity, HKG International and Salford Hongkongers.
