Come and celebrate the Winter Solstice with a relaxing and therapeutic sound bath. Here you will have a chance to to experience relaxation on a very deep level whilst being accompanied by the therapeutic sounds of Himalayan Singing Bowls, Gongs, Crystal Singing Bowls and Therapeutic percussion such as chimes and rainsticks. The Winter Solstice is a time of self-reflection, rest and rebalance and the soundbath process encourages this, allowing for the mind, body and spirit to unwind and adjust. Sound has been proven to facilitate a deeper relaxation and one that remains with the individual for a greater period of time than that of similar relaxation processes. There will be opportunity for reflection after the soundbath.This session is ideal for everybody, including those who may experience anxiety or stress, and also for anyone who would like to enjoy the opportunity for deep relaxation. They are suitable for everyone apart from pregnant ladies who are in their first trimester. If you currently have or are being treated for severe/clinical depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or any other serious mental health condition please contact me.Yoga mats are provided for you to lie on, although it you prefer, please bring your own. Please bring cushions and a blanket so that you can be as comfortable as possible. There will be some refreshments after the session including mulled wine and mince pies.
