St Werburghs City Farm is an inner-city oasis. Situated in the Bristol ward of Ashley next to 4 other wards which fall within the 10% most disadvantaged in the UK. Our vision is to inspire and educate happy, healthy communities through green spaces, local food and each other. Using a 2 acre small holding, a 1 acre community garden, a 2.5 conservation site and 13 acres of community allotments, our mission is to offer targeted community services that equip people with knowledge, skills and confidence, and provide green sites accessible to all.

A winter wellbeing event for 18-25s offering yoga,  meditation, and nature connection workshops.

Boiling Wells

Winter can often be a hard and challenging month for many, so this event hopes to bring a bit of warmth that can help you reset whilst waiting for spring to arrive. This is an invite to anyone between 18-25 to join us in our secret woodland Boling Wells, nestled just 1.5 miles from the city center. Through various alternative therapy sessions, good food, and seasonal celebration we hope to bring a little bit of light back into our lives. Y﻿oga &amp; Meditation run by Sheena LouiseSheena’s Yoga journey began in 2000, at the turn of a new century, just ahead of my next step of leaving home and going to University. I felt I had found something special, although it took several years for me to understand just how integral my Yoga practice would become to my life.
Having practiced, studied and trained for all these years, Yoga has supported me through times of transition, illness, joy and adventure. These days my life is focused around sharing Yoga in a way that helps folk to connect to their bodies and to the world around them, feeling the inner and outer rhythms that guide the seasons of their lives.

One of the most transformational aspects of Yoga for me has been the practice of rest - it has held, nourished, and sustained me through so many challenges. I love to share Yoga Nidra, a very special practice of deep, guided relaxation in a way that feels accessible to all.

For Saturday’s sessions, no previous experience is necessary - come as you are and know that you are welcome. I look forward to sharing with you. 
Nature Connection and willow weaving run by Asia PryjdaAsia has six years of experience working with community-focused organisations and is passionate about linking people and institutions with nature, through food growing and rewilding activities. She believes that through strengthening our relationship with nature, we create a space where humans and nature can recover.
This workshop will be using the five pathways to nature connectedness and practical activities to enhance compassion for nature and your wellbeing. 
We&#x27;ll explore how you can use simple sensory and emotional techniques in your day-to-day life to build a better relationship with nature and help you stay grounded, connected and in one with nature. Bring comfortable and warm clothes. 
Storytelling by Michael Loader Having worked in education and the arts for over 25 years, Michael is able to bring his good humour to schools, theatres, festivals, corporations and prisons. Michael works with the young, old and everyone in-between, showing every group the power of stories and imagination.To complete the day, Michael will weave a mix of stories, ritual, and celebration for people to listen to and take part in.
