Winter Wellbeing Walks
Take a break from the winter blues and join us for a guided wellbeing walk through the beautiful Shoreham Woods.
These walks are designed to help you feel calmer, more connected, and energised during the colder months when Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) and isolation can affect many of us.
Led by trained countryside officers, each walk will include:
✔ Gentle, accessible routes suitable for all abilities
✔ Mindfulness techniques and learning about wildlife and seasonal highlights
✔ Opportunities to meet new people and enjoy the outdoors
Dogs kept on short leads are very welcome to join.
At the end of the walk, we’ll share hot drinks and biscuits to warm up and chat. Hot drinks and biscuits will be provided, please bring layers and sturdy footwear. If you have a dietary requirement, please contact the event organiser (nwkcp@kent.gov.uk).
Come along for one walk or join us for all four to see the signs of spring emerging as the month progresses. Tickets for all dates can be booked from this page, please book a ticket for every date you intend to join.
The walk begins at Shacklands Road car park, where free parking and toilets are available.
Let’s walk together towards better wellbeing this winter!
This programme of walks has been made possible through the Sevenoak District Council Better Together Community Mobalistion Fund.
