Brave the Winter and welcome in the Spring in a fireside feast of spoken word, poetry and song at The Waldegrave pub, East Harptree.

Enjoy this cosy evening of music and spoken word from local poets, singers and musicians, bringing a warm glow to match the wood burners in this community owned village pub.

Local East Harptree poet Paul Watkin,
Beth Calverley, founder of Poetry Machine, who grew up in the village
Susanna 'Ted' Waters 'Fire-fueled, true hearted folk'
Braid 'Bristol-based poetry performance group led by Kaycee Hill, Naomi Madlock, and Kate Noakes who share a passion for words and storytelling, bringing together perspectives from different generations.
With a book signing by Peter Morris author of 'No Repeat of Yesterday' and 'Both Sides Now' published by Conrad Press.
Also featuring other home grown talent.

Doors open 7pm

Bring your card (no cash) for the Open Bar.

All profits from ticket sales will go to Caring in Bristol to support their work with homeless people. Please also feel free to bring along tinned or dry food or other essentials to go to our local foodbank.
