WL&P EXPLORE ONLINE (Modules 3 and 7)

Online 'Explore' sessions for those completing the 'Worship: Leading and Preaching' course: for Modules 3 and 7

Group learning is at the heart of the Worship: Leading & Preaching course. Normally, this is done in a local tutor group in your circuit or district. Sometimes, this is not possible. Explore Online provides an opportunity to do the Explore sessions of the course online.

Please note:

• you still need a local Tutor to work with you on assessing your projects, and a Mentor to help you develop your practical skills.
• you also need to have completed the self-study Learn material for the relevant modules before joining these Explore Online sessions. We do not teach material during the online sessions, but provide a facilitated conversation on some of the topics covered by the module.

Key Details

• Sessions will be run on Friday evening (7pm – 9:00pm) and Saturday (9am – 3pm). Times are approximate and will be confirmed nearer the time. Breaks will be provided in the programme.
• All three sections of a module will be covered during the weekend, and it is important that you attend all sessions during the event.
• You will be expected to participate in conversation and keep your video on at all times, so that the whole group can participate fairly.
• Note that at each online event, two modules will be provided, running at the same time. It is not possible to do both modules at a single event – you need to sign up for one module each time. The programme offered provides the opportunity to complete all eight modules over a two-year cycle.
