Woking Makerday

We are the public library service for Surrey, part of Surrey County Council.

On Sunday 4 June, a day when Woking library is normally closed, Surrey Library Service is holding a makerday:  around 20 stalls staffed by organisations and individuals involved in the maker movement. It's during the summer holidays so the focus is on families and STEAM: science, technology, engineering, art and maths. 
Organisations signed up include Surrey University, 3D Enterprise, iamtheCODE, the Boileroom, the Lightbox, the Surrey and Hampshire Makerspace, Guildford Minecraft, Brookwood Art Group, Makecreatecraft, Sam Topley's Noisy Pompoms, Woking Adult Learning, and local artists and inventors. We're inviting everybody - young and old - to learn something new and get creative.
