Wokingham Bikeathon
Event Information
About this Event
This year to celebrate the amount of people getting out on their bikes we are encouraging you to ‘Ride your own Bikeathon’ for 2021!.
Wokingham Bikeathon is a not for profit organisation run by volunteers and supported by local businesses, charities and organisations. Run by a small Committee headed up by Stan Hetherington, the event first ran in 2008 with just 143 riders and has gone from strength to strength attracting entry numbers nearing a thousand over recent years.
The Wokingham Bikeathon 2021 will be held as a virtual event, meaning riders can ride the route any time between 21st June and 31st July 2021.
The Bikeathon will be completely free to all and if you register that you have completed the ride, we will send you a Finishers Certificate.
This year, all routes, the short, intermediate and the long route, have been made Strava segments for those of you that like to compare performance over time.

Exercise has been so important over the last year and many people have taken up cycling maybe for the first time or after a long gap. It has been great to see so many cyclists on the local roads and we would like to see as many people as possible taking on the Bikeathon challenge. So we have made it as easy as possible to get involved.
At the end of the event you can upload your photos using this link and we will send you a finishing certificate click here
