How do I access the open day?

Lock 7 is located next to Fowlers Park in Wolverhampton. Head to the car park and there will be clear signage directing you to the right place.

Parking is available at Fowlers Park, Nine Elms Lane, WV10 9AW

Yes, toilets will be available in Fowlers Park

Is this an accessible event?

Accepted Answer

Access to the lock is via stairs so is not suitable for mobility users. However, you will be able to see into the empty lock from the towpath so please come along and we will accommodate your visit as much as we can.

The open weekend is outside so please dress for the weather. Please wear sturdy sensible shoes

Is the event free?

Yes. This is a free event, however, if you are able to support our work with a donation there will be opportunity on the day.

No. You do not need a ticket to access the event, but registering in advance helps us plan.
