Women for Peace 4th
Event Information
About this Event
Hi there.
In the fourth workshop Women for Peace we will explore Marshall Rosenberg’s model of non-violent communication (NVC). His model guides us “in re-framing how we express ourselves and hear others, so that our words become conscious responses instead of habitual, automatic reactions”.
We will learn the 4 components of NVC through games, discussion and role plays.
According to Rosenberg, NVC is a language of compassion and learning it might help us to strengthen our relationships by developing respect and compassion.
I will provide the guidelines as usually, materials and ideas for each workshop, however, it'll be open to suggestions as the sessions go along.
In the past 3 years I has been learning about communication (Books from Marshall B. Rosenberg, Alfie Kohn, Alec Grimsley and Thomas Gordon; various workshops on conflict resolution and prevention and on bridge building between cultures) which I would like to share and build on with others.
Are you interested? Book yourself a place. If you won't be able to make it for a reason please cancel your order and let other woman to attend as places are limited to ten only. Thank you.
This is a series of six workshops which will be on the last Friday of every month. It would be good if you could attend all of them, however, to go for few sessions or a one only is fine.
I look forward to hearing from you.
