I have run these type popular event for 12 years and they are always well attended.


Prevent Breast Cancer

Prevent Breast Cancer based at Wythenshawe Hospital and doing amazing research into prevention.

Right now PBC is on a mission to futureproof breast cancer screening. As incidence of breast cancer continues to rise, and it remains the most common cancer in the UK, with GP referrals to breast units doubling in the last ten years. Distressingly, the need for breast imaging is increasing at the same time as there are severe shortages amongst breast imaging staff. This has already led to several breast centres closing nationally, placing even greater pressure on the remaining units.

PBC will provide a solution to these shortages by delivering the space and facilities to train a sustaiable workforce to support breast services across the country. This cutting edge building to be based at Wythenshawe hospital will also allow additional capacity for research into breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.

The cost is £40 to include a 2 course lunch and welcome drink. There is an Early Bird special at £35.00 for bookings before 17th May.

Sponsorship opportunities are available at a cost of £60 to host a table, and banner and literature in the room .

There will also be a range of artisan stalls to add to interest

These meetings are about building new business connections, picking up ideas and growing your business

After many years working in international, national and local media in Manchester I set up Business Breakfast Group in 2010 to organise a regular business breakfast first of all in Warrington and then in Crewe and Nantwich to form South Cheshire Business Breakfast.  

These events are non membership, no joining fee pay as you go.  l have been fortunate to have the backing in way of sponsorship from Mackenzie Goldberg Johnson Ltd, Tinsdills Solicitors, Sharples Group and Bathgate Business Finance

During 2012 I set up Women in business lunches after requests from women in business who enjoyed the working lunch and meeting other women in business in the North West.  These lunches apart from being a brilliant way to connect and grow your business help also to raise awareness of local charities. If you haven't been to any of my events before you will be made most welcome. Women in Business lunches take place in Manchester, Warrington and South Cheshire.

In 2020 I joined two other successful womens events organisers, Kirsty James and Sue France and we formed KTS and run two successful events a year on International Womens Day and our Autumn Conference
