Women's Drumming For Wellbeing (Session 1)
Join us for a rhythmic journey of empowerment and self-expression through drumming - no experience required, just good vibes and a beat!
Feel the beat, calm the mind. Join Funmilola — sound healer and percussionist — for an uplifting, hands-on drumming session designed to ease stress, boost creativity and confidence, and reconnect you with joy.
In a safe space for women, you’ll learn the basics of sound and vibration, explore the history of drums and rhythms, try call-and-response, layer simple patterns, weave in affirmations, and even add a little dance.
You’ll leave feeling seen, heard and energised, with practical ways to use rhythm for everyday self-care.
You’ll learn: introduction to sound & vibration • brief history of drums and rhythms • how drumming supports wellbeing • how to use the drum • call & response • layering rhythms • affirmations with rhythm • dance with rhythm
