For nearly 50 years we’ve supported women and children in London to build safe and strong lives.We know that women across London are experiencing domestic and sexual violence right now. Whatever form violence comes in, from rape and trafficking to relationships based on psychological or financial control, we work to end it. But we know escaping violence can be the hardest thing to ever do. That’s why it’s so important we’re here.We find creative and innovative ways to support thousands of women and children each year. Welcome to the Women's Rough Sleeping Census Report LaunchDate: Tuesday May 07 2024Time: 10:30 AM (British Summer Time)The Women's Rough Sleeping Census is a new way of gathering data, aiming to better understand the scale of women's rough sleeping in England and how systems and services can effectively support women.In 2023, the census took place for the second time, and we were delighted that 44 local authorities across England took part.In this online event chaired by Homeless Link, we will hear about the results and findings from the 2023 census, launching a new census report authored by Change Grow Live. We will also hear from services and local authorities about their experiences of delivering the census, and from the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities about their support for ending women's rough sleeping. We also look forward to talking about how you can take part in the census in 2024.This event is organised by Solace and Single Homeless Project, with thanks to Change Grow Live, Homeless Link and all of our speakers.
