Overview

Join artist and printmaker Joanna Briar to create your own woodcut print taking inspiration from nature and the spring season.

Learn how to safely use basic woodcut carving tools and how to carve into plywood to create your own printing block. You will apply ink using a roller and hand print your design using a wooden spoon or baren onto printmaking paper.

You will make a series of up to 6 prints on A5 paper experimenting with different colours and a range of papers.
