Bring your families to Craigievar to learn wilderness survival skills with the North East Ranger Service.

Working in family groups, we will learn how to make rope, shelters and light fires, using Kelly Kettles to make some hot drinks. Bring a picnic lunch to eat at the camp before setting out to practise some tracking skills around Craigievar Estate and learn about the animals that live there.

Is this event dog friendly?

No, due to the nature of this event we are unable to accommodate dogs at this time.

Is this event suitable for wheels?

No. This event will take us off trail over roots, rocks, and uneven surfaces.

Will this event go ahead in bad weather?

The event will proceed as planned in wet weather, so please come prepared with waterproofs and wellies. In the event of extreme weather (i.e. high winds or flooding), the event will be cancelled and attendees will be notified.
