Guided by an experienced tutor from Westfield Croft, you’ll get up close and hands on with raw fleece and learn every stage of preparation, including:
- Understanding the unique characteristics of sheep’s fleece
- Skirting fleece correctly
- Rolling, washing, and drying
- Picking and carding fibre into a carded batt
Along the way, you’ll discover how your prepared fleece can be transformed into creative projects such as spinning, weaving, felting, and more.
