There are more than half a million people in the UK living with autism, an invisible, misunderstood and lonely disability. 60,000 live in the West Midlands.We are the leading charity in the West Midlands for people affected by autism. We exist to enable all people with autism, and those who love and care for them to lead fulfilling and rewarding lives.  Our passionate, expert staff and volunteers work across all age groups and abilities, providing direct support to people affected by autism.What do we do?• Support people with autism to live as independently as possible, in residential care, or in their own or the family home• Provide activities and events and support for families, and an information helpline• Help people with autism to find and keep a job• Offer training for parents of children with autism, and the professionals who help them….and much more!Our visionis a world where all people on the autism spectrum have the specialist care and support they need to lead fulfilling and rewarding lives.

A face to face group for anyone over the age of 16 who identifies as autistic and lives in the Herefordshire and Worcestershire area.

Join us every 2nd Friday of the month for a face-to-face social group from 1pm until 3pm, located at County House, St Marys Street, Worcester, WR1 1HB

Welcome to the Worcester Social Group!Our Worcester Social Group is a safe and trusted space for autistic individuals living in Herefordshire and Worcestershire to socialise and communicate with one another.We will provide tea, coffee and biscuits but please do let us know if you have any allergies or dietary requirements!Throughout the group the staff will make a range of activities available including board games, quizzes, colouring in, arts and crafts and so much more. However, please don’t feel any pressure to engage with these activities.If you would like further information about the location of our group please get in touch with us and we can send across an information document we have put together including information and photos about the venue as well as travel information.Due to the increased demand of this social group booking is essential! We have limited spaces and would hate to turn anyone away. We also politely ask you to make us aware of any medical conditions you may have.
