Sudan in Our Hearts - Our Final Wordstream of 2025 and a specieal edition of our long-running open mic night.
This month's gathering focuses on solidarity and includes a fundraiser for Sudan, with all proceeds supporting grassroots relief.
Join us for an evening of poetry, comedy and live music with headline poets Amaal Adan and Imruh Bakari, hosted by Elmi Ali and Zak Ahmed. Enjoy Qaraami heartbeat rhythms and classic Somali and Sudani sounds from Salah Hariri, Qaid and friends.
Our open mic welcomes voices of all kinds in a warm and intergenerational space with traditional Somali and Sudanese food, including vegan and vegetarian options to be served.
