Space Antrim

Following last year’s successful project, Antrim &amp; Newtownabbey Borough Council is partnering with Workplus to offer a coordinated Work Experience Programme for post primary schools in the Borough. It has been designed to make connecting for work experience easier for everyone and let local pupils see the breadth of opportunities in their area – from multi-nationals to thriving micro-businesses.The aim of the project is to connect employers with future talent and build transversal skills in our young people.If you’re an employer or a school, you are warmly invited to join us, Wednesday 22nd October 2025 (8.30am - 10.30am) at Space, Antrim (Floor 1, 55-59 High Street. Antrim BT41 4AY) hear more about this inclusive project and what’s involved. The more employers involved; the more opportunities available to our young people.At this event you will:<ul><li>Hear from employers who took part last year, including some who offered placements for students with special needs</li><li>Share ideas about how you can give pupils a great experience</li><li>Learn how the programme connects you with local pupils</li><li>Find out how easy it is to create work experience opportunities</li><li>Have your questions answered</li></ul> Enjoy a light breakfast, connect with other employers, and discover how you can help shape the next generation of local talent.
