Workforce of the Future - Solutions Workshop

Workforce of the Future - Solutions Workshop

Weston Hall HotelBulkington, England
Wednesday, Feb 11 from 9 am to 1 pm GMT
Overview

Join C&W Chamber and Warwickshire County Council for a dynamic Workforce of the Future Solutions Workshop.

This event is exclusively for employers and is by invitation only. If you received this link from a third party and not directly from the LSIP Team, Chamber of Commerce or Warwickshire County Council, please note that your invitation may not be valid.

This workshop forms a key part of the Warwickshire LSIP, and the discussions held will directly inform the next phase of the plan—ensuring future priorities and recommendations are shaped by real employer insight and the specific needs of Warwickshire businesses.

This workshop will explore youth skills and early-career pathways (including routes for NEET and school/college leavers), work-readiness (core employability skills, behaviours, and pre-employment preparation such as placements, internships and trials), and in-work progression (entry-to-supervisor pathways, leadership and management development, bite-size/industry-recognised credentials, and how SMEs can help make progression accessible). Discussion will focus on practical employer actions and partnerships with providers that can be implemented locally, and on how digital adoption and the transition to net zero intersect with these themes.

The Warwickshire LSIP is built on a simple principle: employers understand their current and future skills needs better than anyone. Your experience and insight are essential to ensuring future training provision is relevant, practical, and aligned to real-world business needs.

Why attend?

  • Shape local provision and investment: Directly influence Warwickshire LSIP recommendations so colleges, training providers and partners prioritise the youth skills, work-readiness and progression solutions employers need most.
  • Solve live business challenges: Co-design practical, near-term interventions (e.g., entry pathways, pre-employment preparation, supervisor/manager pipelines) that you can pilot quickly in your organisation.
  • Learn and benchmark what works: Hear the latest evidence and real employer examples on what’s delivering results.
  • Build the right partnerships: Connect with peer employers and provider leaders to form collaborations, access follow-up support, and create clear next steps after the workshop.

Your input will directly inform colleges, universities, and training providers as they design new digital, AI, and technology adoption programmes aligned to Warwickshire’s economic priorities.

We hope you can join us and play a key role in shaping leadership and development support across the region.

Photography / Videography: Photography and videography may take place during the event. If you prefer not to be included, please inform a member of the Chamber Team upon arrival.
