Working Class Movement Library Tour

Join one of our free weekly tours and learn more about the history of the library and our home, Jubilee House.

During the tour, we will explain why the library was founded and cover some of the highlights from our library and archive collection. The tour will allow you to explore the first and second floors of the library, which are usually closed to the public.

The Working Class Movement Library can be found at 51 Crescent, Salford M5 4WX, just opposite Salford University.

We are short walk from Salford Crescent train station and buses 36, 37, 38, 50, 67 and 100 stop just outside our building. There are bike racks to the left of our building and a car park round the back. If you are driving, then ask for a parking permit on arrival.

The includes the first and second floor of the library and the library unfortunately doesn’t have a lift, so the tour may not be possible for everyone.
