In this session, Aki MacFarlane (Open Research Specialist at the Wellcome Trust) will discuss how the Wellcome Trust are promoting a positive research culture and reproducible research.She will introduce Wellcome’s newly formed Research Environment team, which ensures that all Wellcome funded research is open, engaged, ethical, equitable and efficient. This involves 4 major work programmes on Research Culture &amp; Communities, Open Research, Bioethics, and Engagement and Social research. This session will be relevant to anyone interested in hearing how funders are promoting reproducible and ethical research, as well as those interested in applying for Wellcome Trust funding.InclusivityEveryone is welcome to join us - skeptics and open science enthusiasts alike! We are hoping for a diverse range of attendees from all career stages, disciplines, and backgrounds.
