This course, consisting of three 4-hour sessions, forms part of a TOX247 Academy Level 5 Certificate in workplace substance management for those looking to become an accredited Programme Managing Practitioner (PMP). The course will provide attendees in any profession of any workplace sector an insight into why and which laws require a mandatory response by the company, its officers, and its management team. Without a complete and robust workplace substance management programme, properly trained and accredited you cannot effectively protect the company or its employees. The manner by which toxicological and other evidence is gathered, preserved and presented while being challenged by criminal &amp; civil legislations, statutory requirements, corporate governance and insurance obligations cannot be ignored. Attendees will be informed as the correct language and definitions of the WSMP and why healthcare language is inappropriate and where legal precedence takes priority.The course covers 6 key areas which include:1.	Workplace Substance Management – General Information2.	Burdens of Proof, Toxicology and Evidence Controls3.	Understanding the Substance &amp; Alcohol Management Policy (SAMP)4.	Building and Managing a company Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)5.	Understanding the toxicology of the Programme of Testing and Analysis (PoTA)6.
