Event description

Description

The European market for European cybersecurity is estimated at around 160 billion euros in 2016. The UK is one of the leading countries in terms of both demand and supply.

The European Commission has initiated an analysis to better understand the current UK, European and global cybersecurity market structure.

You are invited to attend a workshop devoted to the presentation of the first quantitative results of this analysis and to share your perspectives on the needs and challenges in the cybersecurity market.

Workshops to present the results and inform the report have/are also being held in July and August in 9 European Countries and the results combined.

Participants will:

  • Discover the European Commission's plans for stimulating the cybersecurity market

  • Hear ECSO’s objectives and programme with a proposed budget of €1,800M

  • Participate by sharing your views and influencing future European (and UK) policies

  • Have access to the latest 2016 UK data and its global context from the study which includes: market segmentation, employment, company numbers, in-country sales, import and export data plus other data.

Feedback from Enterprises of any size are welcome and relevant, indeed a spread of sizes would be beneficial. Contributors should have an interest in cyber whether as their core business or as an adjunct to their business.

The Session will be led by Richard Chisnall from Innovasec who is gathering the feedback for the report.

Registration from 8:30am. The Workshop will start promptly at 9:15am and finish by 11:00am.
