Learn how to make a fresh Christmas door wreath using traditional craft techniques .

Kelham Island Museum

Once again, this year we’re hosting a glorious evening of wreath making inside the atmospheric walls of Kelham Island Museum. Get festive and learn how to make a fresh Christmas door wreath using traditional craft techniques. Emma McGeehan, floral designer and proprietor of Orchis Floral Design, will guide you step by step to make a wreath in your own style using locally sourced foliage, beautiful dried fruits, ribbons and sparkly bits and bobs – no two door wreaths will look alike!E﻿njoy hot drinks and mince pies while you craft the evening away, and come away with a beautiful hand-crafted wreath to decorate your door for the season. All abilities are welcome from complete beginners to experts and all materials will be provided. T﻿his annual event normally sells out.
