Waves Platform

Waves Platform in collaboration with The Cyber Academy and the School of Computing at Napier University will be hosting a 4 hour introductory level hands-on Tech Workshop to build decentralized applications (dApps) on the Waves blockchain. The aim of this workshop is to bring together developers to learn about Web3 innovations and to program scalable and robust Smart Contracts and dApps using the Waves blockchain. 
Workshop modules:
1) Waves and RIDE introduction
2) Tokenization and smart contracts
3) Building your own DeFi product
4) Waves Labs and grant program for your dApp
5) Networking event**

Room E17 (Level E, 3rd Floor)

EH10 5DT, Edinburgh, UK 
All participants will receive a Web 3.0 development certificate saved immutably in the Waves blockchain.
*People are advised to bring their own laptops as they can use the Guest WiFi or EDUROAM for those with academic credentials. 
**A networking event with free pizza and beers will be carried after finishing the event
We primarily invite frontend developers, webmasters, full-stack web developers (Node.js, PHP, Python), Indie/Games and iOS/Android developers to join us. Freelancers, Computer Science students and general developers are also welcome to participate.
Workshop will be run by Inal Kardanov (Waves Blockchain and Developer Advocate) and Felipe Millacura (Lead UK Waves blockchain ambassador)
