When approaching a new piece, whether inspired by a verse or a profound quote, I embark on a journey of practice and refinement to achieve a seamless fusion of design and letterform. Multiple sketches pave the way toward the final masterpiece, ensuring each stroke embodies the intended essence with precision.How do you balance the traditional aspects of Arabic calligraphy with your own personal style and contemporary influences in your work?Arabic calligraphy, like other Islamic arts, possesses a remarkable capacity to harmonize with both tradition and contemporary trends. By respecting the foundational principles while embracing subtle shifts in materials and colours, I bridge the gap between the classical and the modern. This delicate balance allows for a seamless integration of timeless elegance with contemporary flair in my artistic expression.Can you discuss the role of symbolism and meaning in your calligraphy pieces?
