Calverley Old Hall

As part of the restoration of Grade I Listed Calverley Old Hall, we are offering the opportunity for a small group of people to join us on a series of short workshops which will provide an insight into the role of traditional craftspeople working on historic buildings like Calverley. With each session led by expert craftspeople, you will work alongside an existing group of participants who are taking part in a 6 week sector based work academy programme on site, and be able to learn more about individual craft skills over the course of your chosen session. The joinery course will run from Monday 11 July to Friday 15 July, from 9:45am to approximately 4:00pm.Over the course of the 5 days, you will learn more about brickwork and learn different techniques for working with bricks.Lunch will be provided (please email us to let us know about any dietary requirements) however you will need to wear sturdy shoes/boots and old clothing that you don&#x27;t mind getting messy.Please note, there is no accreditation available after participating in one of these short taster courses, however you will leave with more knowledge about your chosen craft and hopefully have some fun!
