Workshop: Make your own copper bowl

In our workshop, starting with a round, flat blank. you will use traditional silversmithing techniques to make your own decorative bowl

You will spend a session in our workshop learning how to make a copper bowl using hammering techniques, You will learn how to add decoration and personalisation using rolling, embossing and punches with the help of our experienced metalsmith Jim. You will use the torch flame to anneal the copper and you can also polish your bowl or experiment with firestaining.You will have a copper bowl to take home at the end of the session.
