Full-day workshop doing Grounded Scenework with Britt Pay

T﻿his full-day workshop will focus on grounded scenework- the ability to stay on stage and be comfortable and open to whatever emerges. Maybe you came on with an initiation that went nowhere, or your premise fizzled out. How do you move on and keep the scene fun and engaging without a &#x27;big idea&#x27;? In this class, y﻿ou&#x27;ll learn to pivot to organic scenes by focusing on relationships and fundamentals. The class will be limited to twelve participants, so you&#x27;ll get lots of stage time with some light side coaching. T﻿his class is suitable for intermediate improvisers and above. This workshop will be 11am-5pm with 30 minute lunch break.A﻿bout BrittBritt Pay has over nine years of improv experience and teaches at Hoopla. She performs regularly at Hoopla with The Descendants and Juice, and at The FA with Taco Cat. Britt&#x27;s classes are fun and thought-provoking, with an emphasis on joyful discovery and bonding with your fellow performers. Classes are held at Minerva House, 5 Montague Cl, London SE1 9DF, UK (2nd floor)F﻿eedback from Britt&#x27;s students: Britt is a super teacher: knowledgable, hilarious, confident without being overzealous, and a strong leader. I also enjoyed all the games and meeting beaut people. Britt is so lovely and inclusive.One of the most enjoyable improv classes I’ve ever done. Britt creates a fun and gentle atmosphere which is the best environment for playing and enjoying improv.
