When you think of your local surroundings, what words immediately come to mind? What vivid scenes spring to life in your imagination? If you were to introduce any part of your Borough to a stranger, what would be the first thing you’d share? In this workshop, we’ll use enjoyable visual and writing prompts to playfully immerse ourselves in the art of storytelling about the places we call home. Together, we’ll celebrate the essence of community and place. With encouragement and support, we’ll unleash our creativity to collaboratively craft written as well as visual pieces centred around the theme, ‘My Place’.

Writing Ability: Suitable for all writing abilities.

What to bring: Notepad and pen/pencil - all other materials will be provided.
