Session Overview

This workshop explores a common coaching framework- the GROW model. It is a brilliant tool to support people to identify what’s important them and to help them to move towards their goals.

Session Objectives

You will learn the structure of the GROW model, and how it can be used effectively to support people to move towards their goals.

You will explore the skills of active listening and effective questioning which bring this model to life.

You will have the opportunity to put the theory into practice in this practical workshop.

Speaker

This session will be led by #WECAN delivery lead Amy Samouelle. Amy is passionate about delivering high quality, values led training. Since qualifying as a coach and experiencing its transformative impact on her practice, she is keen to support others with the development of communication and relational skills to have more impactful conversations. She previously worked in the Health and Care sector as a Quality Improvement Coach.

#WECAN is a three year £1.7 million project part funded by the European Social Fund. Led by Leeds Beckett University and working with a network of partners including Edge Hill University and Social Enterprise Yorkshire and Humber, the project aims to support the next generation of women leaders in the Leeds City Region by building their leadership skills, capabilities and opportunities.
