About this event

Workshopping with Booksmiths is for anyone writing in whatever medium, who is serious about finishing their project. In each monthly session, two writers will have the chance to read and discuss an excerpt of their work in a small and supportive group. We then open the floor to a Q&A, and end with plenty of writing time.

Workshopping is one of the most valuable ways to hone our writing and editing skills. With dynamic discussion across a range of genre and styles, we can always discover something to apply back to our own work. With six-months scheduled (pausing for August) find your writing tribe and have your draft completed by Christmas.

June 4th, July 2nd, September 3rd, October 1st, November 5th and December 3rd.

Booksmiths are Rebecca Whitney and Alex Hourston, two published authors and experienced teachers who offer workshops, mentoring and editorial feedback.
