World Bee Day

World Bee Day

Location TBD
Monday, May 25  •  11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
Overview

Join us for a bee themed sustainable crafting session.

Celebrate World Bee Day with a gentle, joyful craft session where we’ll stitch a selection of bee‑inspired creations using reclaimed fabrics and textile offcuts, honouring the beauty and importance of our pollinating friends while enjoying the simple pleasure of making something lovely by hand.

In this relaxed workshop, we’ll explore techniques for sewing soft bees, decorative honeycomb pieces and other nature‑inspired embellishments, sharing conversation, creativity and that uplifting sense of togetherness that naturally grows when people gather to make things with care and purpose. Whether you are an experienced maker or simply curious to try something new, you will find friendly guidance, accessible methods and plenty of room for imagination.

All materials will be provided, though you are warmly invited to bring any yellow, black or nature‑themed scraps, ribbons or buttons you’d like to incorporate. Every piece will carry its own personality, shaped by your choice of colours, textures and playful details.

Please note that the venue will be confirmed closer to the time, as we finalise arrangements to ensure a comfortable and accessible space for everyone taking part. We will share full details with all attendees as soon as they are available.

You’ll leave with your finished or part‑finished bee‑themed craft and the quiet satisfaction of upcycling, celebrating nature and spending a few meaningful hours in good company.
