Woven Edging Workshop

Woven Edging Workshop

St Peter's Church BramleyBramley, England
Thursday, Apr 30 from 5:30 am to 7:30 am
Overview

Learn how to create a low woven edging in this workshop. Feel connected to nature and community and learn the skills needed to try at home.

Join me for this workshop as part of the Seeds for Growth: walks, talks and workshops encouraging nature reconnection series.

We will meet at the front of St Peter's Church, Bramley by the flower wall that runs between the church and pavement on Hough Lane.

We'll take a moment to connect with the space and then I will teach you about the different tools and materials needed to create a little woven fence.

I will give a practical demo and then you will have the chance to use the tools and make a woven edging which will help create a barrier for to stop the mowers reaching the flowers and also look beautiful.

All tools, equipment and materials provided.

Come and learn this simple yet stunning technique! By the time you're finished you will know where and when to collect the materials needed and how to create your own version at home.

Please note that this location will involve sitting or kneeling on the ground to do the weaving. If this is a struggle, please look out for future workshops where there are standing options.

Look forward to seeing you!
