Join us at this 2-day training to learn about WRAP as a tool to support both your own and others’ wellness and mental health. This training is for individuals living in Perth &amp; Kinross.What is WRAP?The Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) is a personalised wellness and recovery programme born out of and rooted in the principle of self-determination. The research shows that it helps people to:<ul><li>decrease and prevent intrusive or troubling feelings and behaviours;</li><li>increase personal empowerment;</li><li>improve quality of life; and</li><li>achieve their own life goals and dreams. </li></ul>Using the WRAP approach can help individuals to monitor uncomfortable and distressing feelings and behaviours and, through planned responses, reduce, modify, or eliminate those feelings. A WRAP also helps people to build systems of support into their lives.Tea, coffee and lunch will be provided. Funding is available to cover childcare and travel costs if this is a barrier to attendance.
