A (now online) weekly guided practice in walking, sitting and writing meditation

About this event

Event Summary

Inspired by Poet, Painter and Teacher Natalie Goldberg's combination of writing with Zen Buddhist meditation practices.

An intimate group (max 10 people). A weekly guided practice in walking, sitting, writing and reading meditation. Through a simple and powerful guided ritual, we will commit to creating space to simply be right where we find ourselves each week: coming home to our bodies and landing onto the page.

These sessions invite you to check in with yourself and each other, step out of the noise and busyness and hear yourself from within.

No experience with writing required. This is not a writing class, but a practice in meditative free writing and sharing our free flow words in a safe, small community. Come as you are, no editing required!

- Wear something comfortable you are happy to walk, sit and write in

- A notebook and pen

- A blank piece of paper

- Some coloured pens, felt tips or pencils (not essential)

Cost - 3 options:

- £15 per session (+ Eventbrite ticketing fee)

- £10 per session (if you book for a block of 8). These sessions are then redeemable on a flexi-basis while the sessions are still running. Please feel free to book via Eventbrite or e-mail me to ask any questions about this option: rosanna.artforhealth@gmail.com.

- Pay what you can - if money is tricky right now, I understand. Please don't let it stand in the way. There is an option to pay what you can, no amount too small.

I am a freelancer so any charges support me to sustain my income and be able to keep offering.

Online - we will meet from our own indoor spaces. Once you book, I will e-mail you the link for access to the session and further instructions.

Make sure you have:

- Good internet connection

- A private and quiet space where you can take part undisturbed
