Write That Novel. A five week course with Sandra Ireland. 4th October - 1st November. Class size max 15.

Details will be given prior to the class starting.Write That NovelTuesday evenings 6.30 - 8.30pm for five weeks 4th October - 1st NovemberIn the middle of a project, or currently mulling over ideas for a new story? Perhaps you need some more information before you start. Led by Sandra Ireland a critically acclaimed novelist and poet, this course takes a personal approach, guiding you along the way with five weeks of exercises, prompts and advice tailored to suit your individual needs as a writer.Tutor : Sandra IrelandSandra Ireland is an award-winning poet and novelist from Carnoustie, Angus. In 2017, she won the Scottish Association of Writers’ Dorothy Dunbar Trophy for Poetry, and has been published in Seagate III, Furies and other anthologies. Her debut novel was 'Beneath the Skin' (2016) was serialised in The Dundee Courier in late 2020. Subsequent novels were 'Bone Deep' (2018), and 'The Unmaking of Ellie Rook' (2019). Her current novel 'Sight Unseen : A Sarah Sutherland Thriller' (2020) was voted The Courier's Scottish Book of the Week.Comments from Sandra's recent course held in February 2021"Sandra Ireland is an excellent teacher who manages to create an atmosphere (even on Zoom) of trust and warmth.
