Many people dream of writing a book - but how do you make that dream a reality?In this live online workshop, I will take you through the steps needed to create a stand-out non-fiction book proposal. A book proposal is so much more than a synopsis. It’s a business plan for your book and where you’ll passionately make your case for why it should exist in the world. *This workshop is recorded and sent to attendees within 24 hrs - so if you can&#x27;t attend live, you can still take part by purchasing a ticket in advance.*What we’ll cover in the 90-minute workshop<ul><li>A detailed look at should be included in a proposal so you can confidently tackle each section</li></ul><ul><li>Understanding your book inside and out so that any agent or editor reading the proposal will instantly be able to picture your book</li></ul><ul><li>Understanding the audience and market for your book, so that you can show there is a need for your big ideas to be out in the world</li></ul><ul><li>A series of exercises to help you get to the heart of what your book is really about</li></ul><ul><li>A chance to ask specific questions about your project</li></ul>This event will be held on Zoom. All you need to bring is a pen and paper.About Penny WincerPenny is a Melbourne born, London dwelling, author and non-fiction book coach. After 15 years as a freelance interiors photographer, Penny began writing about life as a single parent and unpaid carer whilst juggling a freelance creative career. She has written for Red Magazine, iPaper, BBC Radio 4 and The Telegraph amongst others. Penny’s first book Tender was published by Coronet Books in 2020 and she is currently writing her second book. Penny has an MA in Creative and Life Writing from Goldsmiths and is a certified non-fiction and memoir book coach. Penny also hosts the Not Too Busy To Write podcast.
