 Arinola and children

More:

bMoney Wize® is a youth-focused social enterprise. We know that schools focus heavily on maths education of children, but financial education is rarely part of a high-school curriculum, leaving children lacking very important real-life skills. We develop board games aimed at fulfilling this growing demand for financial education, pioneering a fun and new approach to teaching.

We also support young people with acquiring knowledge, confidence and skills to manage money, leadership and decision making skills with Maths in fun, engaging and interactive workshops.

ITV News states that: "An increasingly 'cashless society' is damaging how children and young people think about spending, research has warned - with children less likely to understand the value of money.

The survey found that:

  • 1 in 4 of children have used their parents' bank cards
  • 1 in 5 children know their parents' pin numbers
  • 1 in 3 parents are worried that their children think money is "instantly available"

Dr Arinola Araba, director of Be Moneywize, has now created a game to combat the problem. She said it aims to teach children that goods are obtained through an exchange, and that money is not endless."

We have been featured on the  BBCITV NewsDaily Mail and Sunday Times,  My Social Good, have  received parental reviews on #Amazon, see what one parent Julie says of the game.

We are  based in a Barking and Dagenham and games developer who have created an educational, interactive award nominee board game for use across primary and secondary schools to help kids with maths and financial literacy.  We’ve been featured in the Annual Personal Finance Competiton sponsored by  Moneywise and Old Mutual Wealth . We seeing kids who play the game improve in maths and confidence.
