Ever wanted to write your own songs? Maybe you’ve had lots of ideas, but you’ve never quite figured out how to make them sound finished. Over the course of this four-hour session with professional singer/songwriter and producer Henry Bateman BA (Hons) MA, participants will write a song together as a group. Through this experience, the songwriters will learn invaluable skills they can take away and use by themselves or with friends. We’ll look at different ways to get started, to craft catchy melodies, to develop evocative lyrics, and to conjure up atmospheric chord structures. Instrumentalists are encouraged to bring their instruments along; singers are encouraged to come in full voice. If you don’t do either - that’s fine too. Whether you have written songs before, or never even tried; there will be something in this session for you. ALL MATERIALS PROVIDED, NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARYSMALL CLASS SIZESCANCELLATION POLICYAll tickets are non -refundable.We are able to provide credit / transfer onto another course or workshop if there is two or more weeks’ notice.Within a two-week period, under no circumstances can we transfer you onto another event.
